Held Over: A Single Man and Up in the Air

January 20, 2010

Both of these fine films are getting rave reviews from our patrons. Catch them while you can on the big screen. Scroll down to see more details and trailer links in previous blogs. Opening 1/29: Penelope Cruz in Pedro Almodovar’s Broken Embraces (more details soon) so at least one of these films is definitely in it’s final few days with us.

An off-topic question, but one I suspect may be of wide interest: any idea when The Kentucky will be showing “The White Ribbon”?

It will most likely be March or April before it is released to markets the size of Lexington. Just keep watching this space and we’ll let you know when we get a firm booking.

We have a request into the distributor to play it, but they haven’t announced their final plans yet for this market. You may want to pose questions and comments like this on our Facebook fan page for discussion with others.

Liked Up In The Air, but I was wondering when you all were going to premiere Crazy Heart. Saw the poster in the “Coming Soon” window outside the theatre. The reviews and trailer have got me pretty excited.

Opens Feb 5. Watch this space for more details.
