DAVIS BOTTOM DOCUMENTARY Monday October 19, 6:00pm (free):”Lexington Community Land Trust presents a free, public screening of the 2013 documentary Davis Bottom: Rare History, Valuable Lives in association with the 2015 National Community Land Trust Network Conference. The documentary reveals the fascinating history of a diverse, working-class neighborhood established in Lexington after the Civil War, tracing the neighborhood from the 1860s through the 2000s. The one-hour film will be followed by a short Q&A with those who worked on the film and the Davis Bottom History Preservation Project.” Facebook event here. trailer
